No data stored
The picture is drawn in your browser and never reaches a server. We keep neither your logo nor the finished file. Only the address you type goes to our reader, which runs on a server in Germany, and the result is cached for 24 hours under the domain.

Ten typefaces, all free under the SIL Open Font License and cleared for commercial use, all hosted by us. A licensed brand font cannot appear here: we never load font files from another server, and we cannot pass on a licence we do not hold.
What size does a background image need in Zoom, Teams, Meet and Webex?
1920 x 1080 pixels in 16:9 works everywhere. All four programmes recommend it, and all four accept less. What differs is the file: Teams cuts off at 2 MB, Webex refuses PNG for backgrounds an administrator rolls out, and Zoom wants a 24-bit PNG without an alpha channel.

This tool outputs a PNG in 1920 x 1080. That file goes into Zoom, Teams and Meet as it is. For Webex, and for a Teams file above 2 MB, save it as a JPEG afterwards: at this size a JPEG at 85 percent quality lands somewhere between 200 and 400 KB with no visible loss.
How do I put the file into Zoom, Teams or Google Meet?
Three clicks in each of them, and in all three the image stays on your computer. None of the programmes uploads it anywhere; it is read when the camera picture is composed.
Zoom

Where should nothing sit on a meeting background?
Keep the middle third clear. That is where your head and shoulders are, and a logo placed there disappears behind you for the whole call. The tool draws that strip on the canvas so you can see it while you work, and it is never part of the downloaded file.
- Logo bottom right or top right: both corners stay visible in a gallery view as well.
- Name and role in the lower third, but outside the middle. The strip below your shoulders is the reliable spot.
- Nothing important in the outer 5 percent. Some programmes trim the edges when the camera picture is not exactly 16:9.
What happens with your data
Only the address you type reaches our service, which then reads the publicly available start page. The logo, the colours and the typeface information go back to your browser and are processed there. The picture itself is drawn in your browser and never reaches us. We store neither your logo nor the finished image. The address is cached for 24 hours so a repeated request does not open the page again.

Is it really free, or free until something asks for money?+
Really free. No account, no email address, no credit card, no trial period, no watermark and no export limit. There is no paid tier of this tool, so there is nothing to upgrade to. It exists so you can see how we work before you talk to us.
Why does the tool need my website?+
To find your logo and your colours without you looking up hex codes. If you would rather not, leave the field empty, upload a logo and pick the colours yourself. Everything below works the same way.
The logo it found is wrong.+
It happens. We show which source the logo came from, so you can judge it at a glance. A sharing image is the least reliable one. Upload the right file and it replaces the automatic pick.
Do you keep the picture?+
No. The picture is drawn on a canvas element in your browser and the download comes from the same place. It never travels to a server.
How do I use the file in Teams or Zoom?+
In Zoom under Settings, Background and Effects, add the picture with the plus sign. In Teams during a call, More, Effects and Avatars, Add new. In Google Meet, Apply visual effects, upload a background.
Can I have other formats?+
Three are built in: 1920 x 1080 for calls, 1280 x 720 for slower connections and a square version for tiles. If you need a specific size for something else, write to us.
Can I use the result commercially?+
Yes. Customer meetings, webinars, sales calls, recorded sessions, your own company or a client who has hired you. You do not have to name us and there is no licence to buy. The one thing we cannot grant you is the right to a brand that is not yours: if you enter a domain, make sure you may use that logo.
Why does my background look mirrored in the meeting?+
It does not, and only you see it that way. Zoom, Teams and Meet mirror your own camera picture in your own preview so that moving feels natural, and the background is mirrored along with it. Everybody else sees the writing the right way round. Zoom has a Mirror my video switch under Video if you want to check.
Teams says my file is too large. What now?+
Teams caps meeting backgrounds at 2 MB, and a PNG in 1920 x 1080 with a photo behind it can exceed that. Save the file as a JPEG at 85 to 90 percent quality; at this size that lands between 200 and 400 KB and the difference is not visible on a video call. Zoom allows 5 MB, Webex 15 MB, Google Meet 16 MB.
Does the PNG work in Webex?+
For a background you upload yourself, yes. For backgrounds an administrator rolls out to the whole organisation through Control Hub, Webex accepts JPEG and GIF only, so convert the file first. Webex crops centred to 16:9, which is what this tool produces anyway.
